Tesla Model S in Action!

Check out these videos of the Model S! I can't even believe that this car will be rolling around the streets in a few years! It looks so modern and futuristic. I'm definitely getting one when it comes out, what an amazing looking car. Not only is it great looking on the exterior, the surprise is in the design of the interior. They call this the next iPhone generation of design on this interior layout because it's really the first in the automotive industry to use this kind of technology. The huge screen that's placed in the center replaces all the buttons and controls and it's all based on a touch screen. What that does is that not only is it simple and easy to use, you can easily update the software as the time goes on and you can personalize it like you do on your laptop. The performance on this car is just staggering. They expect this car to handle as good as any sedan on the market and it's going to do 0-60mph in about 5.6sec. That's just simply amazing... zero emission, all electric car that can go head to head with high performance sedans. The reason that this car looks so beautiful is because the basic chassis of the car is simple because all the important components are near the bottom, so the designer of the car had more opportunity to work more on the exterior design of the car to anyway he wanted. The final product is just superb.

Electric Cars are almost here!

Well, it already has come. Tesla Motors, company that produces high performance electric cars already are selling 100% electric zero emissions sports car at around $100,000. They recently had an IPO in the stock market in order to get enough funding to get the Model S in production which will be their next model. The Model S, a four-door family sedan which will cost around $50,000 will go into production very soon and will be available within couple of years. CEO of Tesla Motors is Elon Musk, he started Tesla Motors after selling the very successful Paypal to Ebay. If you have been watching the news lately, Tesla just signed a deal with Toyota to jointly develop an electric Rav4 model and they are helping them with the development process of building electric cars. I really think that the electric car market is the next big thing. There's a reason why all these big companies like Nissan(Nissan Leaf), GM(Volt) are developing electric cars because they know that in the future it is going to be a hugh market for these cars. I have no doubt in my mind the Model S is going to be a huge hit. The exterior design is almost like Aston Martin. It has those bold luxurious lines and bulging parts that really makes the car look aggressive and attractive.
